JOIN THE WOLFPACK.

the what:

Gather together with eleven other women, to uncover the mysteries and myths that are woven throughout Women Who Run With The Wolves.

We will meet together in sacred circle every other week, for a total of thirteen circles.

This is not a place to gather and gossip, to bash men, to complain about our partners, to put other women down. This is a sacred space where we will re-learn, or perhaps learn for the first time, the women’s mysteries that have always belonged to us.

This is an HYBRID offering. Location details for in person participation will be provided after registration.

»»»You will read the designated sections BEFORE each circle.

Week one: Resurrection of the wild woman & the beginning initiation

We begin with section one and two, meeting The Wolf Woman and understanding the Bluebeard myth. Together we will discuss the archetype of the woman as prey, deepening our understanding of the maiden.

WEEk two: the retrieval of the intuition

Section three carries us through the myth of Vasilia the Wise. Through nine initiations, we begin to uncover how to find the voice of our intuition, and finally understand what it means to trust it.

week three: union with the other

The story of Manawee shows us how to maintain our sense of self while in relationship to the other. How do we share our sovereign nature within the container of love.

WEEK FOUR: WHEN THE HEART IS LONELY

Here, we will walk through the story of Skeleton Woman, uncovering the life/death/life cycle. This section further delves into the Wild Woman in love relationships.

Week FIVE: BELONGING AS BLESSING

At our sixth gathering, we revisit the classic tale of The Ugly Duckling. This time, we view the tale with new eyes. We will discover the Mother Archetypes, and how these different mother-figures in our lives can either lead to or away from a sense of belonging.

WEEK SIX: the wild flesh

As women, we know our bodies have been under attack since our conception. Together, we will view the body not as an object, but reclaim it for the sacred vessel it is, and explore what fairytales have to say about the holy body.

WEEK seven: Self-preservation

Uncovering the feral woman within. We will read the story of The Red Shoes, and learn of the various traps that await a woman who has not yet reclaimed her innate power.

week eight: returning to oneself

How many times do we lose ourselves to others, to work, to societal expectations? How many of us can say we truly know who we are? We will learn about “sealskin”, or “soulskin”, and how to know when ours has been taken.

week nine: nourishing the creative life

We are raised to believe that a creative life is selfish, or childish, when in reality, it is our birthright. We will learn from tales of La Llorona, Little Match Girl, and The Three Gold Hairs, and see how our creativity and our life force are one in the same.

week ten: retrieving a sacred sexuality

Throughout history, there are Goddess myths that are depicted as “dirty”, otherwise known as the whore complex. What if we flipped this on its head? Sexuality is nothing to be ashamed of, but something to be celebrated.

week eleven: rage and forgiveness, membership in the scar clan

Where is the line between bearing your teeth and retreating? It is here we discover the intricacies of when it is right to forgive, and when it is right to draw a line in the sand. What if rage was viewed as sacred? In chapter thirteen, we learn how holding secrets can harm us, as shown in the story of The Woman With Hair of Gold.

week twelve: initiation in the underground

The tale of The Handless Maiden walks us through our initiation into the underground, including how we emerge more psychically whole.

week thirteen: The deep song and closing ceremony

We conclude the teachings of the text and close with a sacred ceremony.
